Tozi Award
In memory of the founder’ Sarah Tozi Khuvutlu, Sasekani sponsors an annual event “The Tozi Award” to Elim-Hlanganani Society for the Care of the Aged. The sponsorship varies and is always in the form of something useful to the elderly because Sasekani does not believe in handout but in equipping the people to be able to sustain themselves. The waste products (pieces of fabric) from the factory are donated to Elim-Hlanganani Society for the Care of the Aged. The old men and women use these pieces of fabric to make art items. It is always a delight to them to receive bunches of fabric.
Learner Shoe donation
Every year we are inundated by communities to contribute in the provision of school shoes to learners who are coming from poor families.
Sasekani-mbhangazeki learner award
Sasekani has initiated a learner award system where well-performing learners are recognised through a merit system to be held quarterly. Aim of the award system; Induce academic excellence through hard work, instill sacrifice, and discipline. To inculcate a competitive spirit amongst the learners encourage learners and to achieve more.
Gawula high school - school donation
The school approaches us from time to time that we donate towards learner awards with the aim of improving learner performance.
